We couldn't have asked for a better launch! Our very first Pitch in the Pub event set a sensational tone for the entire Proptech Forum. It was a great night of proptech innovation, networking, and cold drinks.
The energy was incredible, the ideas were flowing, and the future of proptech was being built right there. We are delighted to share that the night was a resounding success, and we congratulate all of our brilliant pitchers!
The inaugural Pitch in the Pub event took place on Thursday, 13 November 2025, marking a monumental step for the proptech community.
A huge thank you must go to our incredible sponsor, Australian Land Registry Services (ALRO). Your support makes nights like this possible, driving the future of property forward!
Pitch in the Pub Spotlight: The Brilliant Pitchers

The first group of fantastic pitchers showcased solutions aimed at refining core business practices within the proptech industry. Tim Morris of Agentsy not only delivered a compelling pitch on his property technology but also served as our technical 'superhero' for the evening, ensuring the event had a seamless start.

Following him, Geoff Grist presented Agent Best Practice, an app-based selling plan designed to bring much-needed structure and consistency to the estate agent sales process, effectively introducing a real system to property sales. We look forward to its official launch in 2026.

Next, the presentations pivoted towards leveraging data and opportunity identification. Adel El Mawla of Workplaced captivated the audience by explaining how his company uses over 20 million data points to bring science to workplace success, providing strategic recommendations and eliminating guesswork.
This approach has already secured 20 customers and 15 partners in a global market valued at $8.4 billion.

Finally, Rishabh Arora, our wild card from New Zealand, introduced Plot Potential. His software is a visionary tool that helps agents fully understand the development potential of land listings, thereby highlighting significant new business opportunities beyond the initial listing itself.
And the Winner Is... TRACit!
The competition was fierce, but one presentation truly stood out for its clarity of vision and immediate, vital impact on the industry.

Roylene Reilly of TRACit boldly took on what she dubs the "most boring problem in real estate": compliance.
Reilly pointed out that, last year alone, 2,000 agents were fined over A$1 million in New South Wales for non-compliance. She has dedicated her company, TRACit, to helping agents avoid these hefty fines. She refers to TRACit as the 'seatbelt for compliance,' offering a sharp analogy: "No one wants to wear it until it saves your life!"
A huge congratulations to Roylene Reilly of TRACit for winning Proptech Australia’s very first Pitch in the Pub event! Her passion and the innovation behind TRACit shone through, earning her the top spot.
It was fantastic to see her reaction. As she said to Chris Mason (Proptech Australia Secretary), "This has really boosted our confidence."
She also extended a heartfelt thank you, stating "Thank you to Proptech Association Australia from both Jared Linwood and myself for all the support and encouragement to do this! You are such a wonderful group of individuals who promote new start ups and give us the confidence required to keep pushing ahead!"
We are so excited to see what TRACit achieves next in ensuring compliance across the property sector!
A massive thank you again to everyone who attended, pitched, and supported our very first Pitch in the Pub. What a triumph! We look forward to seeing you at the next one
