Candid Panel Makes IWD Lunch a Huge Success

Proptech Australia held its inaugural International Women’s Day lunch on March 12, celebrating the contribution of women in our sector.


Some 30 members of the association attended the lunch at the plush QT Hotel in Sydney.


The lunch featured an in-depth panel discussion about the experiences of women in the workplace and in leadership positions.


One participant, Ann McCartney of Prescient Research, posted on LinkedIn: “What a wonderful afternoon hearing from some of the best in the business. Thank you for holding this event and looking forward to more in the future!”

Manon Dallee, of Downsizer, added: “What a wonderful event!”


The President and founder of Proptech Australia, Kylie Davis, said: “A huge thank you to everyone who joined us. We are so glad that everybody enjoyed this lunch and took the time to celebrate the power of reciprocity and support within our community. Women are such powerful drivers of innovation in the Australian ecosystem. It was inspiring to see so many founders, executives and mentors reflecting on how women contribute to solutions that make it easier to plan, build, buy and manage real estate experiences.


Kylie hosted a panel that featured: 

  • Carolyn Trickett (JLL Spark): As the Asia Pacific Growth Principal for JLL Spark, Carolyn manages strategic relationships for a venture capital fund that transforms the industry through tech-based innovation. She has a proven record of delivering technology solutions that automate and streamline day-to-day real estate functions.

  • Hedy Ivanovski (Milk Chocolate Property): A Business Architect and former Google leader, Hedy excels at solving complex business challenges using human-centred and data-driven approaches. She is a licensed real estate agent who’s passionate about ensuring tech solutions meet the actual needs of clients.

  • Roylene Reilly (TRACit): The NSW State Manager for a national franchise group and the winner of Proptech Australia’s 2025 "Pitch in the Pub". Roylene has co-founded start-up TRACit, a dashboard system that automates compliance and licensing renewals, helping agents avoid significant, compliance-related fines through smart technology.
