Local proptech tour heading for the Big Apple

ree

Investment NSW is organising a proptech study tour to the United States to coincide with New York Real Estate Week from October 20-23.

The tour is part of the state government’s “Going Global Export Program”, which targets NSW’s next generation of SME exporters.

The program consists of a bespoke market preparation program followed by a market-entry mission.

The program is designed to help participants increase their export proficiency and harness business growth through international export opportunities.

Delegates will not only be able to take part in events around NY Real Estate Week but also CREtech New York (October 21-22).

CREtech is a two-day event in which delegates can connect with top C-suite executives, industry leaders and dealmakers from the world’s largest real estate firms.

It is the flagship event of NYC Real Estate Tech Week, and it will provide participants with an opportunity to make meaningful connections and walk away with tangible business outcomes.

Global leadership

The Investment NSW program includes a six-week preparation program delivered by US experts in a curriculum that will equip delegates with the essential knowledge needed to succeed in the US market.

Travel and accommodation costs are not included in the mission.

Applications are now open for the “Proptech to the USA” program, which runs from August 2025 to October 2025.

The US stands as a global leader in real estate and proptech, offering an unparalleled market for innovation and growth.

Its proptech sector, valued at US$15.91bn in 2024, is projected to surge to US$71.31bn by 2034, forecasting a compound annual growth rate of 16.18%.

Accounting for 27.6% of the global proptech market, the US is at the forefront of adopting and developing real estate innovations.
