Taskforce delivers innovative trade solutions to Real-Estate Agencies, Housing Providers, manufacturers and retailers across Australia. Taskforce's job scheduling platform harnesses our 5000 strong national trade network, with the ability to assign the tradesperson with the necessary skills in a designated geographical area to jobs for completion within a strict one-hour time slot.
Their mission is to enable all Australians to access safe, affordable rental properties by providing exceptional safety and maintenance services.
Company History: Taskforce has been operating for over 10 years now since being founded by Jason Bright in 2014. Their services and business model have changed over the years, but the overarching foundation of marrying innovative technology with a strong network of nationwide trades has continued to drive Taskforce's success.
Proptech solutions and services: Taskforce delivers safety checks, compliance inspections, maintenance, rectification, and installation work nationwide to our clients at affordable pricing with <1% cancellation rate.
Taskforce’s proptech solution is end-to-end and handles booking, scheduling and reporting of jobs through our client facing portals for booking jobs and overseeing their portfolio, tradie app for accepting and completing jobs and handling all insurances and licences, end-customer facing calendar for selecting appointments and backend for operations management.
Key Differentiator: Taskforce has capacity to handle large volumes of diverse jobs with minimal cancellation rates and align multiple trades where required to the one tight time slot - all at affordable prices and with nationwide coverage.
Accomplishments and Milestones: Taskforce's recent 10 year anniversary in 2024 was a milestone in itself, and being listed on the AFR Fast 100 list, Smart 50 list, winning a Telstra Best of Business award for Outstanding Growth along with a Proptech Award were especially fitting celebrations of our decade in business.
Taskforce also very excited to have brought on board a number of new Housing Providers as clients in the last 12 months, and looks forward to further growth in this area.
Future of proptech: The potential for proptech to address the current housing crisis. Through their work in the rental and housing sectors, Taskforce can see the cost savings and efficiencies our technology brings to owners and providers in the areas of safety checks and maintenance, so widening the lens and looking at how proptech could have a positive impact on other facets of this complex issue is really exciting.
Taskforce has already demonstrated that the extensive use of technology applied across the provision of cyclical checks and maintenance can significantly reduce cost and improve efficiency to provide unprecedented service levels.
Taskforce is now able to do more jobs in a given time and area with more predictability by deeply understanding the scheduling data and fully automating the scheduling process. The future for Taskforce will see more automation and the use of AI to create further improvements in efficiency and customer satisfaction.
This will result in lower costs for owners and housing groups, minimal disruption for tenants, and better-maintained and safer properties at a lower cost through improved data management.
