SYDNEY, Australia – WayScape has launched a new platform billed as a “fundamental redesign” that will bring together the disparate software systems used by real estate agencies.
The WayScape Agent 3.0 ecosystem is designed to end the fragmentation caused by the nine to 14 platforms that agencies use for a single transaction.
The new platform went live on January 26.
The Principal and CEO of WayScape, Rebecca Moroney, said the new ecosystem was a response to a critical industry challenge. Fragmentation of software platforms had forced agency staff to retype data multiple times and manage compliance through manual, error-prone checklists.
WayScape research has found that agents spend approximately 62% of their working week on administration rather than revenue-generating activities.
The company said in a statement that conservative modelling suggested that mid-sized agencies lose up to 12 hours per agent, per week to these inefficiencies. At average commission levels, this represents a loss of tens of thousands of dollars in opportunity cost per agent every quarter.
Moroney described the new platform as the most significant structural shift in Australian real estate technology in more than two decades.
A Reset of the Agent Workflow
Agent 3.0 provides a unified environment designed to consolidate workflows, strengthen compliance and restore operational clarity to the profession. It is not intended to be an additional layer on top of existing workflows, but a fundamental redesign.
It introduces a single environment where data is entered once and it flows throughout the entire transaction lifecycle, ensuring that technology acts as an "organised colleague" rather than a source of friction.
Key features of the ecosystem include:
Integrated Compliance: Automatic audit trails are embedded into daily workflows to reduce reliance on memory and mitigate regulatory risk.
Operational Recovery: Early pilot programs showed that agencies adopting the model recovered 12 hours of capacity per agent per week.
Human-Centric Design: The technology is built to handle routine tasks, allowing agents to focus on the advisory and empathetic aspects of their profession.
Measurable P&L Impact: Agencies reported two to three additional transactions per quarter, per agent, without increasing headcount.
National Education and Live Demonstrations
To coincide with the launch, WayScape has released a five-part education series outlining the economic impact and practical architecture of Agent 3.0. This is paired with live national webinars where the ecosystem will be demonstrated in a real-world environment.
Webinar Schedule:
Wednesday 28 January: 5pm – 6pm (AEDT)
Thursday 29 January: 5:30 pm – 6:40 pm (AEDT)
From 2pm on 26 January, professionals can activate WayScape products directly via the WayStore.
