2026 Proptech Awards: Celebrating a New Horizon of Innovation

The last 12 months have been an amazing and often challenging time for proptechs. Yet the passion and innovation in our community continues to rise with new products and solutions for residential and commercial real estate.
Now, the stage is set to illuminate and celebrate our industry’s triumphs once again.
Proptech Australia is thrilled to announce its sixth annual awards are now open.
New awards highlights
A total of 35 awards are on offer this year, including Proptech of the Year for Start-Ups, Scale-Ups and Established Suppliers.
Also, we’ve also listened to your feedback and applied some subtle changes.
Two categories in the Divisional Awards have been renamed to provide greater clarity and cut-through in the real estate market. The category called Administration & Efficiency has become Workflow & Transactions; and Buying & Ownership is now Buyer, Renter & Owner Solutions.
The awards for Proptech to Watch, Residential Proptech of the Year and Commercial Proptech of the Year will be committee-nominated. This avoids a situation in which a proptech enters one of these awards but not their specific Divisional or Open category.
A total of 21 awards are available in our Divisional categories for Start-Ups, Scale-Ups and Established Suppliers (7 each). And our eight Open categories include Proptech Team of the Year and Proptech Leader of the Year.
To ensure every star has a place to shine, we continue to champion companies of all sizes through our Divisional awards:
Start-Ups: 3 years and under.
Scale-Ups: 3–10 years.
Established Suppliers: 10 years+.
Please refer to our criteria for specific details to ensure you enter the correct Division.
Proptech of the Year winners will be drawn from those who win their Divisional or Open category, and these entries will be judged for a second time by a separate judging panel.
