Awards run by Proptech Australia celebrates its 5th year
SYDNEY, AUSTRALIA (May 13, 2025) – We're thrilled to announce a record-breaking 148 entries for the 5th annual Proptech Awards, proudly organised by Proptech Australia, the leading voice for proptech companies nationwide!
This year's awards have drawn incredible participation from across the residential, commercial, and construction sectors. The diverse range of technologies and innovative solutions submitted truly highlights the dynamism of the sector.
Kylie Davis, the founding President of Proptech Australia, said she was delighted with the overwhelming support from members and their dedication to driving innovation and achieving excellence within the proptech space.
“It’s been a year of both challenges and exciting developments for our proptech community,” Ms Davis said. “The broader property market has certainly navigated some headwinds with higher interest rates and cost-of-living pressures impacting real estate businesses across the board.
“That’s why it’s particularly inspiring to see our members rally in greater numbers than ever. This strong participation underscores the fantastic work and leadership of our new Board of Directors, and the collective optimism for a rebound in the property sector.”
This year, several categories really captured the attention of entrants, including:
A.I. Empowered Solutions
Team of the Year
Proptech Leader of the Year
Buying and Ownership
Ms Davis highlighted the impact of the newer categories: “Our A.I. and Teams categories have clearly struck a chord with proptech innovators throughout Australia.
“With everyone talking about Artificial Intelligence, it’s fantastic to see our proptechs deeply integrating it into their offerings, delivering cutting-edge solutions for the market. This clearly demonstrates Australia’s growing reputation as a vibrant global centre for property technology.”
The strong interest in the Team of the Year award reflects the spirit of collaboration and commitment within companies as they tackle today’s technological landscape.
Ms Davis said, “Innovation is at the heart of our sector, and the pace of change is constant. Successful proptechs thrive not only with visionary leaders but also with strong, dedicated teams supporting them.
“A huge congratulations to all the participants for the exceptionally high calibre of their submissions. Every year, we see a remarkable improvement in the quality of services and products, and their readiness for the market. It’s an incredibly exciting time to be part of the Australian proptech revolution!”
More than 50 industry experts have generously volunteered their time to judge the awards.
The finalists will be announced on May 23rd on the Proptech Australia website and social media channels.
