From Adoption to Advantage: Call for Speakers Announced for Proptech Forum 2026

Each year, the Proptech Forum brings together the sharpest minds in our sector to shape where proptech goes next. This year, we want your voice on our stage.
Our members' entries in this year's Proptech Awards told a clear story: AI is no longer a pilot project for most of us — it's built into the products and services we deliver every day. The question we're wrestling with now isn't whether to adopt AI, but how to turn that adoption into genuine, durable advantage — without losing the trust of the clients, partners and regulators who rely on us.
That's our theme for 2026: From Adoption to Advantage, with the sub-theme Blueprint for Trust in an AI World. Proptech Australia is inviting proposals from across our community — founders, technologists, researchers, and industry leaders — who can help our audience make that leap.
What We're Looking For
We want presentations that speak directly to the theme, through one or more of the following lenses:
Original thought and perspective on the future. Fresh, forward-looking ideas about where proptech — and trust in AI-enabled proptech — is heading over the next 12–18 months.
Case studies. Real examples of AI adoption converted into measurable business advantage, including the hard-won lessons along the way.
Research findings. Original or synthesised research specific to the Australian and New Zealand markets — we're prioritising local data and local relevance.
International perspective, locally applied. Insights from overseas markets, translated into practical relevance for ANZ proptechs and property businesses.
Format
Individual presentations should run no longer than 30–45 minutes, with time built in for audience questions.
If your idea is better suited to a panel or fireside conversation, note that in your submission — we'll work with you on format.
How We'll Assess Submissions
Beyond fit with the theme, we'll be weighing proposals against the following:
Relevance to the sub-theme. Does the session help our audience build or protect trust — with clients, partners, or regulators — while pursuing AI advantage?
Originality. Is this a fresh take, not something the audience has already heard on the conference circuit?
Evidence and credibility. Are claims backed by data, a track record, or a documented case study, rather than opinion alone?
Practical takeaways. Will attendees leave with something they can actually apply — a framework, a lesson, a tool, a way of thinking?
Speaker standing and expertise. Relevant experience or authority in the subject matter.
No sales pitches. The Forum is a place for thought leadership, not product demonstrations — sessions should educate and provoke discussion, not sell.
Fit with our audience. Our room includes proptech founders and their teams, CEOs and leaders from property, real estate and construction, adjacent industry and government representatives, and investors — proposals should speak to at least one of these groups meaningfully.
Diversity of perspective. We're building a program that reflects the breadth of our sector — company stage, background, and viewpoint all matter to us as we shape the final line-up.
