Our newest Proptech Forum Satellite Event shows how the new Home Energy Ratings will work, and where Proptechs fit in.

On Thursday 12 November from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm, REA Group will host a workshop on residential energy efficiency, an opportunity worth up to $80 billion.

With the new Home Energy Ratings rolling out, energy efficiency will shape how Australians sell, buy, rent, value and upgrade their homes. Consumers want information and technology that makes upgrading easy, and Proptechs are well placed to provide it.

Your host is Erik Tveitnes, API Lead at REA Group. He will be joined by Cecille Weldon, the founder of the government-endorsed Energy Efficiency Features Standard.

Why attend?
  • See how the new ratings will look for buyers, homeowners and Proptechs

  • Understand how a shared data standard gives the whole ecosystem a common base to build on.

  • Hear early about new tools coming from REA Group, the government, valuers and the finance sector.

  • Work out how to build energy efficiency features into your product, or find your next idea.

Who is this for?

The workshop suits CRMs, data businesses, assessors, Proptech founders, lenders, upgrade providers and agents.
