Proptech Australia, the peak body for the property technology sector, has announced its official Master of Ceremonies lineup for the upcoming Proptech Awards on July 2. Co-hosting the flagship industry event will be the irrepressible Paul Findlay, Director of Real Estate and Proptech at Cloudstaff, and the fabulous Allie Thompson, National Customer Training Manager at REA Group.
Bringing together real estate pedigree, tech-driven expertise, and seasoned stage presence, the pairing promises an energetic evening celebrating the brightest innovators and creators in the Australian proptech ecosystem.
Paul Findlay is a well-known powerhouse in the real estate and technology sectors. Currently leading the APAC real estate division at Cloudstaff, Findlay is dedicated to revolutionising modern outsourcing workflows across real estate, mortgage brokerage, and proptech businesses. His extensive background includes time at Proptech Labs, Deep Blue, CoreLogic and multiple former winners of the Proptech Awards.
Additionally, Paul brings a unique entertainment edge to the stage, having enjoyed a past life behind the decks as a professional DJ.
"I am incredibly excited to be co-hosting the Proptech Awards this year," said Findlay. "Proptech is all about pushing boundaries, scaling growth, and celebrating the forward-thinkers. To be on stage shining a light on the incredible talent and tech changing our industry, while channelling a bit of my old DJ energy to keep the crowd moving, is going to be an absolute blast."
Joining him on stage is Allie Thompson, a property management growth specialist with over a decade of fast-paced, hands-on real estate experience. In her day-to-day role at REA Group, Thompson supports property managers and agencies nationwide to unlock the full potential of digital platforms. Known for her infectious enthusiasm, professional drive, and deep industry knowledge, Thompson is no stranger to managing high-stakes crowds; on weekends, she works as a professional wedding celebrant and experienced MC.
"I am thrilled to step onto the Proptech Awards stage this year," said Thompson. "Every day, I see first-hand how technology empowers property professionals and transforms businesses. To celebrate the creators and visionaries behind these world-class tools is a true privilege. I promise to bring all the enthusiasm, professionalism, and celebration a night like this deserves."
The Proptech Awards stand as the premier accolade event recognising excellence, efficiency, and technological evolution across the property sector.
"We are thrilled to welcome Paul and Allie as our MCs for the night," said Kylie Davis, president of Proptech Australia. "Both understand the grit and passion it takes to innovate in this space, and their combined charisma will ensure our finalists, winners, and guests are in for an exceptional evening of entertainment and celebration."
