Proptech Australia Announces Finalists for the 2026 Proptech of the Year Awards

Proptech Australia has officially announced the finalists for the 2026 Proptech of the Year awards.

Now in their sixth year, the awards have attracted a huge number of entries from Proptech Australia’s membership base.

A total 35 awards are available this year, including Proptech of the Year for start-ups, scale-ups and established suppliers, plus Proptech Leader of the Year and Proptech Team of the Year.

“The standard of entries gets better with each annual awards,” said Kylie Davis, President of Proptech Australia. "The outstanding volume of entries demonstrates how highly competitive solutions are being built for the Australian market. And many of our local companies are truly market-ready and world-class.”

Ms Davis said AI has featured strongly as part of wider solutions. “It’s clear Australian proptechs are thinking innovatively about AI and how it drives accuracy, efficiency and user guidance into their products. At the big real estate conference, AREC, held just a few days ago, I noticed how Proptechs were now a major presence overtaking traditional vendors. Principals and agents are really beginning to understand the power of proptech and how it creates efficiency, contains costs and delivers bigger profits.”

Growth areas: Data Solutions, Workflow & Transactions, and Buyer, Renter & Owner Solutions

The 2026 entries reflect momentum in sectors handling complex institutional data, administrative challenges and end-user experiences. The Data Solutions, Workflow & Transactions and Buyer, Renter & Owner Solutions categories saw unprecedented competition.

Traditionally popular categories, such as Property Management & Maintenance, and Sales & Marketing, also continue to attract elite-level submissions across the Start-Up, Scale-Up and Established Supplier divisions.

The awards are proudly supported by Gold Partner Realtair – part of REA Group, and sponsored by Cloudflare, ALRO (Australian Land Registry Operators) and Cloudstaff.
