Members feature strongly in Urban Developer’s Leader of the Year awards

Eight leaders of the Proptech sector have been nominated as finalists in the Urban Leader of the Year awards organised by Urban Developer.

The awards are designed to recognise individuals driving change and shaping the future of Australia’s cities.

Urban Developer is an integrated platform of media, events, education and products designed to “connect, inform and inspire the people and organisations that positively shape cities around the world”.

The finalists include several winners at Proptech Australia’s Proptech of the Year awards this year.

They include Christian Schwerdtfeger and Clint Motley of Immersiv, and the chief financial officer of Avenue Bank, Nicolas Parfait.

Immersive won the Off The Plan category at the Proptech awards, while Avenue Bank took out two categories – Valuations & Financial Solutions (Start-Up) and Commercial Proptech of the Year (Open).

A long-time supporter of Proptech Australia, Walton Chu, the CEO of Teamlink, is another nominee.

The founder and President of Proptech Australia, Kylie Davis, of ProptechGuru, has also been nominated.

Urban Developer said the “calibre of nominations was strong, showcasing the breadth of leadership”.

The winners will be unveiled at a gala event in Sydney on October 30.

• Christian Schwerdtfeger and Clint Motley of Immersiv – Co-founders, IMMERSIV
