Strata management market leader Onsite – a new member of the Proptech Association – was recently selected to join the Techstars Sydney cohort that held a “Demo The Future” expo at Darling Harbour just before Christmas.
Founded by Nathan Croxton, Onsite is designed to modernise the operational challenges associated with apartment living and high-density residential management.
Addressing the Strata Challenge
With more than three million strata-titled residences in Australia, this sector of the real estate industry has traditionally relied on manual processes, fragmented communication and legacy software.
Onsite has been designed to solve these inefficiencies by providing a centralised digital hub that connects residents, strata committees and building managers in real-time.
By acting as the "digital brain" of a building, the Onsite platform ensures that historical knowledge and operational data are preserved across successive committees and management changes.
The platform streamlines several critical functions, including:
Report and track issues in real time.
Manage maintenance, contractors and approvals
Store and access building documents securely
Communicate seamlessly with residents and committees
Driving Industry Innovation
Founder Nathan Croxton says that as urban density increases and compliance regulations become more stringent, the need for automated, proactive management systems is essential.
The Onsite team’s participation in the Techstars programme marks a significant step in its mission to bring smarter, data-driven solutions to the Australian proptech landscape.
Techstars Sydney is supported by the NSW Government. Its Managing Director, Christie Jenkins, noted Onsite’s rapid adoption rate, and she praised its ability to scale from single-building pilots to full portfolio management.
