Forms Live launches in Tasmania

Digital forms provider Forms Live has announced it will operate independently in Tasmania after the Real Estate Institute of Tasmania (REIT) announced it has ended its relationship with Dynamic Methods

The move means that Tasmanian real estate agents will retain the option of having a fully digitised forms and contract platform that supports their workflows and allows them to save time and stress, continuing the service they have provided since 2014.

David Howell, the CEO and founder of Dynamic Methods, said he was excited to be operating independently in Tasmania.

“Tasmanian agents and property managers deserve best-in-class technology that makes their lives easier, helps them deliver better customer experiences and reduces their workload,” said David.

“The Forms Live platform has more CRM and property management integrations than any other forms provider in the country, meaning the technology works seamlessly within agency workflows and doesn’t need time-consuming manual work-arounds required with PDFs and add-on signature packages.

Forms Live has worked with Butler McIntyre & Butler to create a compliant set of sales and property management contracts so Tasmanian agents can operate uninterrupted and without the need to learn a new process.

“We have worked extremely hard to deliver a suite of compliant forms and contracts needed by Tasmanian agents, and these will work in exactly the same way as the old forms did,” David said.

David said the move to independence for Forms Live would benefit Tasmanian agents for the long term as the Tasmanian version of the platform was updated to include functionality available in Victoria and South Australia.

“The platform in Victoria and South Australia has some very clever features that we are looking forward to sharing with Tasmanian agents in the near future,” he said.

David said that one of the most important differences between the old and new forms is that agents will be able to access and own any data generated within the platform.  This replicates the Forms Live business that Dynamic Methods has in Victoria.

“Agencies that decide to use the new Forms Live will retain ownership and access to their data and any forms and contracts they generate in the system, even if they decide to end their relationship with us,” David said.

This distinction is important after decisions by real estate institutes in South Australia and Victoria made forms data ownership available to third party providers.

Dynamic Methods is Australia’s leading provider of forms and contracts to the property industry through the Forms Live platform that is delivered in partnership with real estate institutes in NSW, Qld, WA, NT, and the ACT and independently in Victoria, South Australia and Tasmania.

The Forms Live platform is the leading provider of forms and contracts for the real estate industry around Australia and is owned by Dynamic Methods. It is used by 8,500 real estate agencies and more than 50,000 agents and managers. More than 66 million of our forms have been used since launch in 2005 resulting in more than $100m in property sales per month and a further $80m in property leases per month.
