Member Survey Gets ‘Great Response’

ree

Pitch days, API catalogues and more work on industry standards are high on the list of requests made as part of Proptech Australia’s first-ever Member Benefits Survey.

Members said the Proptech of the Year awards and the annual Proptech Forum were highly valued.

The desire for more networking opportunities emerged strongly from the survey results.

Proptech Australia has just announced the timing and venue of the 2025 Proptech Forum. It will be held on November 14 in Melbourne. (See announcement).

The Member Survey was organised by new Board Director, Hedy Ivanovski, from the proptech Milk Chocolate.

She said: “We had a great response rate to our recent Members Benefits Survey. Thank you to everyone who took the time to share their feedback.

“The results reveal our annual events like the Proptech Awards and Forum are highly valued.

“Awareness for some of our existing enduring benefits, such as discounts, online resources and industry advocacy is much lower, highlighting an opportunity for review or improved communication.”

Hedy said there was a “strong interest in some of our suggested new benefits, including standards, API catalogues and pitchfest/demo days”.

A database of potential funding opportunities and a desire for more networking opportunities were also popular suggestions.

Hedy said the Board was now actively exploring how to “evolve our offerings to balance our annual events with more practical help and activities supporting members’ business growth”.

“So, watch this space,” she said.

Hedy continued: “In the short term, we plan to improve communication and onboarding of existing valuable benefits, and boost networking and pitch opportunities, leveraging the upcoming Proptech Forum in Melbourne on November 14.

“These steps aim to address varying needs between new and long-term members and different membership types, ensuring all members can fully engage with and benefit from their engagement with the association.”

Proptech Australia pledged to make a donation to the Property Industry Foundation charity for each survey completed. A $700 donation will be made on behalf of members.
