Proptech Awards raises $6,500 for The Rise Initiative's mental wellness mission

Sydney, 14 July, 2026 – The 2026 Proptech Awards has raised $6,500 for the real estate charity, The Rise Initiative, through a charity auction held during the gala awards night on at The Ivy, Sydney, earlier this month.
Nearly 300 guests from across the Australian proptech and real estate sectors gathered for the industry's premier awards night, celebrating innovation, leadership and excellence in property technology.
As part of the evening, attendees had the opportunity to bid on exclusive auction items, with all proceeds going directly to The Rise Initiative – the event's official charity partner.
The Rise Initiative is a mental wellness charity dedicated to the real estate and property industry. It provides practical tools, education and resources for individuals and real estate businesses to support better wellness, based on the latest in neuroscience and psychology.
Its programs, including the Real Care app and the Real Care Playbook, are designed to help property professionals thrive both personally and professionally.
Kylie Davis, President of Proptech Australia, said the fundraising result reflected the sector's genuine commitment to supporting the wellbeing of its people.
“The generosity of the proptech community on the night was truly heartwarming,” she said. “Our industry is built on innovation and solving real problems – and supporting the mental health and wellness of the people who work in property is one of the most important challenges we can rally behind.
“To raise $6,500 through the silent auction shows that our sector doesn’t just talk about looking after our people, it puts its hand in its pocket to make a real difference. I am incredibly proud of everyone who contributed.”
Belinda Sinclair from Domain, who serves as a Director of The Rise Initiative, said the support from the proptech community was a powerful signal that wellness in real estate was a shared priority.
“It was wonderful to see the proptech sector come together not just to celebrate innovation, but to actively support the mental health and wellbeing of the broader real estate industry,” she said.

This kind of support from the Proptech and Proptech Australia community helps us to continue to deliver practical wellness tools and resources to an industry that truly needs them.”
